Welcome to the eRun storybook

As you know by now, the world as we know it ended on that fatal day in the year 2012. Instead we have the world in front of us, here in the year 2040.

There has been some trouble with all relative time ever since the change I should warn you. For instance you might right now believe to belong to a time before the fatal year 2012, but there has been some mix-up there. So it seems, in thought the world prolonged, but in fact the world has come to a full stop. I am sorry if this comes as a clash and brakes down your self-established illusion. I do not blame you though, for after all this is the way the human brain works. You see, memory is not that certain at all; when all comes to all what do we remember of the past: some fractions of fading images, a vain feeling of the heart, a small part of a melody?

The world has stopped, only the thought of the world maintains...

In eRun cyberspace we refer to the time after 2012 as the afterworld. All that was before is known as the lost world. In daily terms the afterworld, which is today, is simply referred to as the new world though. In the new world most people live in cities like this, the city of light and shadow, Tyron.

My name by the way is Byon Kübek. My previous occupation was to develop the next generation, which in time will replace the lost generations, since the reproduction of our time does not occur by simple gymnastics on the sheets, rather it is a matter of the laboratory. Here the human genom is combined with the secondary genom, developed by mathematics like myself. The fieldwork of creating this secondary genom was done in the early days of modern research, back at the scientific institute research lab under eRun.
